Who We Are
We care about you, not just your appointment.
We started Janasewa because we believe getting medical care should be simple and stress-free. Instead of running to different places for a doctor's visit, laboratory tests, and pharmacy prescriptions, you can get everything sorted out in one friendly clinic.
We focus on keeping you healthy over the long term. That means we prioritize preventative checkups, clear and honest conversations, and following up on your recovery, rather than just handing you a quick prescription.

Health Through the Year
What the Kathmandu seasons bring in.
Living in the valley, some health problems arrive like clockwork. Here's what we watch for each season, and the simple things that keep most families out of the clinic.
Monsoon · Asar–Bhadau
Dengue & water-borne fevers
The rains bring standing water and mosquitoes, and with them dengue, typhoid, and stomach infections. A fever that lasts more than two days deserves a blood test, not just paracetamol.
Empty water containers weekly, and drink only boiled or filtered water.
Winter · Mangsir–Magh
Cold air & poor air quality
Valley air gets thick and dusty in winter. Asthma, sinus trouble, and chest infections flare up, especially in children and older people. A lingering cough is worth getting checked before it settles in.
Mask up on high-pollution days and get your flu shot before Poush.
Spring · Falgun–Baisakh
Pollen & allergies
As the valley greens up, pollen and dust set off sneezing, itchy eyes, and skin rashes. Most of it is manageable, but if it's stealing your sleep or your breath, come in — allergy relief is straightforward.
Rinse your face after coming indoors and don't self-mix antihistamines.
Accreditation & Standards
Certified laboratory standards you can trust.
We follow strict medical guidelines to make sure your tests are accurate and safe. Our in-house lab uses certified processes and is checked regularly so that you and your doctor get reliable results.
Registered with the Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC)
Every doctor, lab technician, and nurse on our team holds an active license and qualifications verified by the national health councils.
Daily Lab Checks for Accuracy
We calibrate and test our lab equipment every morning. This helps us ensure that your test reports are consistent and completely accurate.

A Quick Guide
Not every symptom needs a doctor. Some do.
People often wait too long, or rush in too early. This is a rough guide, not a diagnosis — when in doubt, a quick phone call to the clinic will point you the right way.
Usually fine to rest at home
- • A one-day cold or mild sore throat
- • A single loose stool with no fever
- • A small cut you can clean and cover
- • A mild headache that eases with water and rest
Worth booking a visit
- • A fever lasting more than two days
- • A cough that won't clear after a week
- • Ongoing stomach pain, vomiting, or diarrhoea
- • Anything you'd normally "wait and see" for too long
Don't wait — call now
- • Chest pain or trouble breathing
- • A very high fever with confusion or a stiff neck
- • Bleeding that won't stop, or a deep wound
- • Sudden weakness, slurred speech, or fainting
When Your Results Land
You won't be left refreshing your inbox.

- Same day
- Thyroid, liver, and kidney panels
- Same day
- Cultures and specialised tests
