If travelling to the clinic is hard — an elderly parent, a newborn, someone recovering from surgery, or simply a fasting sample you would rather give at home — our phlebotomist will come to your door with a sealed collection kit.

Registered & inspected
The laboratory operates to Nepal Health Professional Council norms and is inspected under NPHL guidance for staffing, equipment and record-keeping.
Daily internal QC
Control sera run on every analyser each morning before a single patient sample is processed. Out-of-range controls stop the run, not the report.
External proficiency testing
We take part in external quality assessment rounds, where blind samples check our results against reference laboratories.
Signed by a pathologist
Every abnormal or critical result is reviewed and signed by our lab director before it leaves the building. Critical values are phoned to you the same hour.

For blood sugar, lipid profile and iron studies, stop eating 10–12 hours before. Plain water is fine and actually helps — it makes the vein easier to find.
Your medicines
Keep taking prescribed medicines unless your doctor says otherwise. Bring the strip or a photo of it so we can note anything that affects the result.
Best time to come
Between 7:00 and 10:00 AM. Hormone and iron levels shift through the day, so a morning sample is the one your doctor can compare year to year.
Urine & stool samples
Collect in the sterile container we provide. For urine, use the midstream portion of the first morning sample and bring it in within two hours.
Before an ultrasound
Abdominal scans need 6 hours of fasting. Pelvic and pregnancy scans need a full bladder — drink 3–4 glasses of water an hour before and do not pass urine.
What to bring
A photo ID, any previous reports for the same test, and your insurance card if you have one. Old reports let us compare trends instead of single numbers.

Only for some tests. Fasting is needed for blood sugar, lipid profile, iron studies and abdominal ultrasound — 10 to 12 hours with plain water allowed. Every test in the directory above is marked with a Fasting tag when it applies, so check the tag before you come. If you are unsure, call us and we will tell you exactly what to do.
Most routine tests are reported the same day, and urgent ones such as CBC, blood sugar, electrolytes and troponin are back within about two hours. Specialised immunoassays take 3 to 5 days. Each test in the directory shows its own turnaround time.
As soon as our lab director verifies the result, we send a secure PDF to your phone on WhatsApp or by email. You can also collect a printed copy from the front desk. You do not need to travel back to the clinic just to pick up a report.
Yes. Our phlebotomist can come to your home anywhere in Koteshwor and nearby Kathmandu areas, usually between 7:00 and 10:00 in the morning so fasting samples are drawn on time. Call or WhatsApp us the day before to book a slot.
No. You can walk in and request any test in this directory directly. That said, if you are not sure which test you need, our physician can see you first and advise the right panel so you do not pay for tests you do not need.
The tests listed above are processed in our own in-house laboratory under daily internal quality control. A small number of highly specialised assays are sent to a partner reference laboratory, and we tell you upfront when that is the case along with the expected turnaround.
Each test in the directory above shows its price in Nepali rupees, from Rs 100 for a blood sugar test. Panels such as the lipid profile or liver function test cost less than ordering each part separately. Imaging, ECG and a few specialised tests are priced on request, so send us the test name on WhatsApp. Our health packages bundle the most common tests at a lower combined rate.
